The Unilever brand said Vaseline Cocoa Radiant Smoothing Body Butter is made with 100% pure cocoa and shea butter and contains four times more emollients than any of its other lotions.
The body butter’s thicker texture allows the product to melt into skin for an indulgent soothing experience providing enhanced moisturization, which is crucial for winter hydration from dry skin, according to the company.
Vaseline partner and award-winning actress Viola Davis celebrated the launch of the product earlier this week in Los Angeles.
“Vaseline has been a part of my everyday routine since childhood and has helped me understand the importance of maintaining healthy skin,” Davis stated. “I love the new Vaseline Intensive Care Cocoa Radiant Smoothing Body Butter because it’s made with 100% pure cocoa butter, shea butter and healing Vaseline Jelly. The combination of ingredients is the perfect trifecta for moisturizing dry skin.”
The new Vaseline Intensive Care Cocoa Radiant Smoothing Body Butter combines micro-droplets of Vaseline Jelly and pure cocoa butter in a rich, fast-absorbing formula. The result is a luxurious lotion that moisturizes to help heal dryness and smooth away dullness, bringing out skin’s natural radiance, the company said.
Vaseline Cocoa Radiant Smoothing Body Butter comes in a premium 8-ounce jar and can be used daily. The product is now available at food, drug and mass retail stores nationwide.
